August long weekend closures

CHCH will of course be up and running this holiday Monday, however, there will be closures you’ll want to be aware of.

-Recreation centres

-All bank branches

There will be no green cart, blue box, bulk waste, yard waste, or garbage pickup on Monday, August 5. Pickup for the week will occur one day later than regularly scheduled. Items must be put out at the curb by 7:00 a.m.

Community recycling stations will be closed.

Most liquor, beer, and grocery stores will be open Monday, check with your local store for hours.

Public pools will remain open as well. Go Transit and Hamilton buses are running on a reduced holiday schedule this Monday.
