Ask a Muslim open house

First Published:

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association launched an unique cross country campaign to provide people with an opportunity to learn about Islam.

Thousands of people across the country have taken advantage of open houses offered by Muslim communities including here in Hamilton.

It was a chance for residents to ask questions and hear about the challenges faced by local Muslim men, women and children.

Imam Naveed Iqbal says “With an increase in controversy surrounding Islam and Muslims in the west there is a need to help remove the stigma by connecting locally.”

Similar events were held today in 25 towns across Canada. The open houses are held every month.
