Arkells announce concert at Tim Hortons Field

Hamilton’s Arkells will return to the city to play an outdoor concert at Tim Hortons Field this summer.

With the help of Canada’s 2018 Olympic flag-bearers Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, the band announced they will be joined by special guests Cold War Kids, Bishop Briggs & Ellevator for a show on June 23.

It will be the only concert in the area this summer before the band heads to Timmins, Ont. for the Stars and Thunder Festival 2018.

Presale tickets go on sale Feb. 13 and tickets for the general public will be available on Feb. 15 at 10 a.m.

Arkells were recently nominated for three Juno Awards including fan choice and best single for “Knocking at the door.”
