Air Transat suspending all flights out of Toronto until April 30th

A major disruption in the Canadian airline industry effective tomorrow.

Air Transat is pulling the plug on all of its flights out of Toronto due to the federal government’s tightening of pandemic re-entry rules for travellers.

Spokeswoman Debbie Cabana says flights will resume Apr. 30.

The cancelled routes in Toronto include flights to sunshine destinations in the Caribbean.

In addition to those flights, Air Transat is cancelling its flights from Montreal to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Varadero, Cuba
