This morning, we were joined by Cassandra Gelzynsky from the Lincoln County Humane Society and a four-year-old American Bulldog mix named Kielbasa.
The society is looking for someone with American Bulldog experience who is able to take him to obedience classes.
Kielbasa was brought to the humane society by his owners. He has some allergies and is currently on hypo-allergenic food. The humane society is hoping someone who can meet his needs will be able to adopt him.
Gelynsky says Kielbasa will do best in a home with kids over 16-years old due to his energy level. Meet and greet is required with other dogs and he would be able to get along with a dog friendly cat.
Kielbasa required lots of exercise. Gelzynsky recommends owners provide him with around two hours of exercise a day, whether it be running and playing, or just walking.
The Lincoln County Humane Society is opening up to the public on Dec. 1 for individuals who are fully vaccinated so people can meet the pets they will be adopting.
