A Burlington Stabbing leaves one man injured

Halton police responded to an early morning stabbing that left a Burlington man with serious injuries. It happened around 5 am on Maple Crossing Boulevard near Lakeshore Road in Burlington.

A man in his fifties was reportedly stabbed in the neck with a steak knife at his 14th-floor apartment.

The attacker then fled the area, before tactical officers and a K-9 unit arrived on scene.

The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries but is expected to be okay. Police believe the attack was targeted, and are still investigating.
