Arrests after central Hamilton stabbing

Two men are in custody after a stabbing in central Hamilton.

A 40 year old man was stabbed several times in the torso and arm and has a punctured lung after he was attacked at a home on Greenaway Ave near Cannon St around midnight.

A short time later two men were arrested nearby. The victim and the suspects know each other; all three are known to police.
