OPP investigate after woman followed by a vehicle in Simcoe

Norfolk County OPP are investigating after a woman reported being followed by a vehicle in Simcoe.

Police say they were called around 11:30 p.m. on Monday.

The woman said she was walking southbound on Colborne St. S when she noticed a white vehicle without any lights on following her.

She told police the driver got out and ran at her. She ran away and got help at a home in the area.

The man was reported to have gotten back into the vehicle and was last seen heading southbound on Colborne St. S.

He was said to have a heavy build and was wearing a red hat, black sweater and blue pants.

The vehicle is described as a 2005 older model white, four-door Subaru.

OPP are asking anyone who may have captured the incident on security cameras to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
