Niagara police are hoping the public can help identify a man who slammed a stolen truck into a St. Catharines business on Sunday.

It happened around 5:40 a.m. at Larry’s Rentall Inc. on Ontario St.

Police say an orange Toyota Tundra pickup truck that was stolen from a nearby parking lot was rammed into the building three times. The suspect was unable to get inside but managed to cause roughly $100,000 in damages.

He is described as white, approximately 30 years of age, five-foot-six, with a medium build. He was wearing a grey Nike hooded sweatshirt, black pants and grey and white shoes.

Police say the truck has black rims and a white “Rough Country” decal across the rear window. The vehicle sustained significant damage to the front and rear bumpers.

Anyone with information that could help identify the suspect is asked to contact Cst. Waters at 905-688-4111.
