Niagara Falls hosts first 420 Expo

First Published:

Today at the Scotiabank Convention Centre was the first ever Niagara Falls 420 Expo. It is a celebration of cannabis, community and culture.

International 4-20 day, when cannabis is celebrated globally, happened to fall on a Saturday this year, which made it a perfect day for Niagara Falls to host its first ever 420 Expo. Held at the Scotiabank Convention Centre, it featured over 50 vendors and over 20 guest speakers.

Appearing as a special guest was Erik Stolhanske, who played the character Rabbit in the cannabis cult classic comedy Super Troopers 2, which was released on April 20th, 2018.

While a ton of people enjoyed the novelty of lip balms and bath products made from cannabis, the majority of the people were excited for the education. With hundreds of happy exhibition goers, the Niagara Falls 420 Expo will continue next year.

Some users still have their gripes, mentioning that while the government says that their hope is to deter people from the black market, the prices of legal cannabis at pot shops are far too high in order to achieve that goal. In some cases, double or triple the street price of marijuana.
