UNICEF says Israel denying essential items into Gaza, preventing aid

UNICEF said essential items including syringes to vaccinate children and bottles for baby formula are being denied entry into Gaza by Israel, preventing aid agencies from reaching those in need in the war-devastated territory.

Meanwhile in Israel, hundreds of people attended a funeral for a deceased Israeli soldier who was killed in Gaza more than a decade ago.
