Monday marks the 15th year where indigenous communities and supporters gather for an annual remembrance of those who’ve gone missing or have been murdered across Canada.
May 5th is “Red Dress Day” in Canada, an art display that signifies First Nations women and girls who are no longer with their families and communities.
The long-standing crisis sparked a national inquiry and report, calling for more than 200 recommendations for justice and reconciliation.
