Miss Sloane is a legal drama directed by John Madden (The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Shakespeare in Love). The film was shot in Toronto and premiered at this year’s AFI Fest. Jessica Chastain stars alongside Mark Strong, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Stuhlbarg, Alison Pill, Jake Lacy, John Lithgow, and Sam Waterston.
In the high-stakes world of political power-brokers, Elizabeth Sloane (Chastain) is the most sought-after and formidable lobbyist in D.C. But when she takes on the most powerful opponent of her career, she finds that winning may come at too high a price.
