Police investigating man’s death in Stoney Creek

First Published:

Police are hoping an autopsy will help explain the circumstances surrounding the death of a man following an incident involving a flat-bed truck in Stoney Creek.

The 48-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk and the tow-truck was exiting a gas station at the corner of Centennial Parkway and Queenston Road on Monday night.

Hamilton Police say they have conflicting reports on whether the man was struck by the truck or had a pre-existing medical condition that led to his death.

Police are interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance cameras in the area.
