A group of 12 people who work together in Markham is sharing $60 million from last week’s Lotto Max jackpot.

Each will get $5 million. They received the prize money this morning at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation offices in Toronto. Group head Dennis Cartier bought the winning ticket in Brampton and waited through a weekend before going to work at Canadian Black Book to tell his co-workers who jointly paid for the ticket.

The largest grand prize of any Canadian lottery remains the $63.4 million Lotto 6-49 jackpot in April 2013, shared by four winners.
