Drivers were a little confused Thursday on the new roundabout in Welland.
The new traffic circle at the end of the 406 at East Main officially opened at 6:00 in the morning. With the traffic lights gone, the Ministry of Transport for Ontario insists the flow of traffic will proceed more smoothly. But critics say putting a roundabout at the end of a highway will result in more collisions.
