A 4-year-old boy has been seriously hurt after being hit by a pickup truck in Hamilton’s north end.
The collision happened Monday around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Sherman Ave. and Clinton St.
Police say a man was driving northbound on Sherman Ave. and turning right onto Clinton St. when the child darted from the sidewalk.
He was hit as the vehicle passed.
The boy was sent to hospital and is currently in non-life threatening condition.
Speed and impairment have been ruled out as factors in this collision.
