2018 Tim Hortons Camp Day raises over $13 million

First Published:

Tim Hortons is celebrating another successful Camp Day with over $13 million dollars raised this year.

Each year on Camp Day, 100 per cent of the coffee and bracelet sales at Tim Hortons go towards giving youth from low-income families the chance to attend one of seven Tim Hortons Camps.

“We are so thankful to the Tim Hortons Restaurant Owners and Guests from across the country for their incredible generosity,” said Dave Newnham, President & Executive Director, Tim Horton Children’s Foundation.

“It’s more than just a visit to camp. Our programs are transformative and we can’t do it without the support of Canadians on Camp Day.”

Each camp location is operated by the Tim Horton Children’s foundation and offers a different experience.

The 2018 Camp Day was one of the most successful in its more than 25 year history.

Since the beginning, over $185 million has been raised for the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation, sending over 277,000 kids to a Tim Horton signature camp for free.

Guests still looking to contribute can still purchase bracelets at participating restaurants for $2 or cab donate at anytime online.
