CHCH Seeks New Home in Hamilton, Asks Viewers For Input

CHCH is on the hunt for a new home in Hamilton and we’re asking our viewers to help us find it. The building that houses the station’s studios on Jackson Street West has served us well since the 1980s but is showing its age.

In a message to staff Channel Zero COO Cal Millar said “last week I am happy to report we accepted an offer to buy the building”.  Millar added that CHCH will continue to lease the studios for at least two and a half years while the search continues for a new location.

Viewers who many know of an “awesome space within the vibrant heart of the city” are encouraged to let us know by email at newhome@chch.com.

  1. I have the best place in the city of Hamilton.
Lots of parking, good signage, Mohawk co-op students across the street! Good access to the city. I think it’s a win win!
The Old Monastery on the corner of West 5th and Fennell.
Let’s see how are city counsel handles this one!
