Web Extra: Nick’s full interview with VIA Rail crash responders

First Published:

On February 26, 2012, a Via Rail train en route from Niagara Falls to Toronto jumped the tracks in Aldershot.

While three engineers were killed instantly, the efforts of so many police officers, fire fighters and paramedics on scene that day helped to make sure the injured passengers, and those that escaped injury, got off the train safely and into caring arms.

Nick Dixon sat down for an exclusive interview with seven of the first responders who were called to the chaotic scene that day.
