Watermain break on Barton fixed

Crews were on scene of two watermain breaks in Hamilton Saturday.

The first was on Barton Street East near Mary Street causing a portion of the road to collapse. The eastbound lanes of Barton Street East were closed at Mary Street. Traffic is still flowing westbound along Barton.

The second watermain break was on Barton near Emerald, closing the area. Barton street was closed between Victoria Avenue and Oak Avenue.

Both watermain breaks have been repaired on Sunday.
