WATCH: New Lucy Maud Montgomery Heritage Minute

Historica Canada has released a new Heritage Minute to mark International Women’s Day.

The video showcases Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery, who is known around the world for “Anne of Green Gables.”

She also penned 19 other novels.

The Heritage Minute uses Montgomery’s journal to outline how she battled sexism, rejection and depression.
