Police now have a suspect in last week’s shooting death in Clinton, Ontario of construction executive Don Frigo.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Boris Panovski, 70, from Scarborough. He’s wanted for murder and attempted murder.

Police have released a photo of him, asking for the public’s help tracking him down. He’s 5 foot 7, 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes; however police say he may have changed his appearance.

A Toyota four-door sedan similar to one wanted in the Frigo murder case

They’re also looking for a blue ’98 Toyota four-door sedan similar to the one above that Panovski is believed to have been driving.

Don Frigo was shot last Saturday. He was riding horses with his wife at a wildlife conservation area in Huron county, about 2 hours northwest of Hamilton. Police say she was able to get away safely and suffered only minor injuries.

Police say Frigo and Panovski knew each other. Panovski could be armed and dangerous and shouldn’t be approached.

They’re looking to speak to anyone who may have had contact with Panovski in the past seven days or has seen his car. OPP have set up a dedicated line at 1-844-278-4794; they can also call local police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
