City officials in Toronto are on the hunt for a runaway peacock.
The peacock escaped from High Park zoo on wednesday. This morning one resident spotted the bright blue bird on the roof of a home near High Park.
Officials are warning residents to not approach the bird or feed it. Anyone who sees it is asked to call the city.
Meanwhile, the peacock is soaring across social media. It already has a twitter handle and the hashtag #TorontoPeacock is trending on Twitter.
