Labour groups have been holding rallies outside Tim Hortons across the province to protest cuts to employee benefits and the end of paid breaks at some outlets, including one in Dundas.
As a retired Tim Hortons employee who worked for several different owners my breaks were never paid for I worked 8.5 hours and was paid for 8 hours. The only time breaks were paid were for night shift as you did not get regular breaks but took them when you could.
Disgusting how a business that rakes in billions of dollars can be so greedy…your franchises are worth nothing if not for your front-line workers…start treating your employees with the respect they deserve!!
