TIFF Canada’s Top Ten // Les Affamés

TIFF Canada’s Top Ten film festival kicks off 2018 with a selection of must see films made right here in the great white north.

Director Robin Aubert talks about how the arctic and his hometown inspired him to make his not so conventional zombie thriller, Les Affamés, as well as his incredible cast and discovering pint-sized breakout Charlotte St-Martin. Les Affamés was selected by TIFF to represent Canada in its annual Canada’s Top Ten film festival. A great exploration of isolation and community Les Affamés offers far more than a few jump scares.

Canada’s Top Ten runs from Jan 12-21 and features the following films:

Adventures in Public School
Les Affamés
Never Steady, Never Still
Our People Will Be Healed
RUMBLE: The Indians Who Rocked the World
The Little Girl Who Was Too Fond of Matches
Unarmed Verses

Les Affamés screens on Thursday January 18 and Sunday January 21. For tickets and more information visit tiff.net.
