Ticats roster boasts Canadian talent

First Published:

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats home opener on Friday is not only a special game for the fans, its marks a memorable moment for the players as well. The Ticats roster is loaded with Canadian talent, and many of those players are home grown from the Golden Horseshoe.

Quite honestly, this is a very impressive list of players that grew up in Southern Ontario, with many of them also playing their University football at McMaster. I talked to a number of these locals who agree that when they take the field tomorrow against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, a whole family and friends will be right with them at the stadium and in in spirit.
