Three wanted in theft of instruments in Burlington

Halton Police are looking to identify three people wanted for stealing over $5,000 worth of musical instruments.

The theft happened on Dec. 16, at the Long & McQuade on Mainway in Burlington.

Police say two men and a woman entered the store and looked at different items before selecting an amp worth $1,249 and an electric guitar worth $4,550.

According to police, one of the men left the store with the amp, followed by the woman, who left with her jacket wrapped around the guitar. The second man followed shortly after.

Police have released pictures from the store’s security cameras. All three are believed to be in their 20s.
