The death toll from Monday’s bus crash in eastern Ontario has risen to three.

Officials say a 60-year-old Chinese woman who was badly hurt died in hospital yesterday.

Two others – a 57-year-old woman from Shanghai and a male passenger from Jiansu, China – died earlier in the week.

The tour bus was carrying 37 people when it crashed into a rock formation along Highway 401 near Prescott.

Police say the cause of the crash remains unknown and the investigation continues.
