Teen sent to hospital following street fight in Stoney Creek

Hamilton Police responded to a call at a home in Stoney Creek late Friday night after a fight broke out between two groups.

Police got the call around 11 p.m. and responded to a large house party that had spilled out onto the street in the area of Fifty Road and Halifax Street.

A teenager was taken to hospital with injuries to his jaw.

Police said at least one person had their cell phone stolen.

Two people, under 18, have been arrested and charged, police said.

ACTION police will be canvassing the area looking for more witnesses.
