Toronto police looking for suspect in Scarborough shooting

Simeon Harty, 22, Man wanted for Homicide

Toronto police have issued a warrant for a 22-year-old Toronto man wanted in connection with a shooting, October 27, in Scarborough.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Simeon Harty, who is known to police.

He is wanted for first-degree murder in the shooting death of 23-year-old Kevin Nicholas Gidden.

Gidden was pronounced dead in hospital, Saturday.

Toronto police held a news conference, Sunday, saying the car involved in the shooting was found in Hamilton.

They have not found any weapons.

Anyone with information is being asked to call police or crime stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
