High school teachers in Sudbury are on strike as of this morning. As a result, secondary schools are shut down in the district.
This is the second area affected by strike action. Last Monday, high school teachers in Durham Region hit the picket lines. All 76,000 of Ontario’s public elementary teachers will be in a legal strike position on May 10th.
Teachers currently make between $45- 95,000 a year.
