Homeowners are dealing with extensive damage in Stoney Creek, the cleanup, just beginning.

Waves crashed over the break wall and onto houses that back onto the lake, on Windemere Road in Stoney Creek. The rain, relentless.

Ducks were seen swimming on lawns and driveways, submerged underwater, as the lake gushed inward, saturating the neighbourhood.

Just 10km away, residents in the Green Street and Church Road area are still cleaning up after waves breached the break wall Sunday, flooding basements and damaging several homes.
