Stemley Cup in Hamilton

Hundreds of students put months of hard work to the test as they competed for the Stemley Cup.

For the first time, the City of Hamilton played host to the robotics competition.

Over 800 students converged on St.Mary Catholic Secondary School as they battled to the top.

The challenge is simple, stack as many totes as you can in 2 and a half minutes.

Teams battled it out in qualification and elimination matches throughout the day.

The competition features teams from across Ontario and even a team from Michigan. all of them are looking to come out on top.

More than 20 teams took part in the tournament, teams consisted of students from grade 9 to 12.
