Smithville grow-op busted

Hamilton police have seized over a million dollars worth of marijuana from a Smithville grow-op.

It included 1,259 marijuana plants and 71 grams of processed marijuana.

Investigators arrested the owner of the property as he was leaving an east Hamilton home.

64 year old Albert Oddi of Smithville faces charges of cultivation and possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

Hamilton police say they got a tip and followed up on it with a search warrant, leading to this major bust.
