Public health is investigating a reported salmonella outbreak at a pita place in Hamilton.
It’s alleged that four people got sick after eating food from “Eat-a-Pita” on Main Street East at Kenilworth.
Hamilton Public Health says the restaurant has taken “corrective measures” and remains open but will be inspected again Thursday.
Symptoms of salmonella include fever, chills, sudden headache, stomach cramps, diarrhea, nausea and sometimes vomiting.
If you’ve experienced any of these and ate at “Eat-a-Pita” since February first, you’re being asked to call public health.
