Roman Sarachman steps into the mayoral race

First Published:

Long-time Flamborough advocate Roman Sarachman says he will run in the provincial election in June and against mayor Fred Eisenberger in October.

The 70-year-old is currently the chair of the de-amalgamated group, Free Flamborough.

He says he has plenty of energy to carry him through both elections.
Sarachman has already been approved by the newly formed Trillium Party of Ontario.

He will be running against PC candidate Donna Skelly and Liberal candidate Judi Partridge who are both currently city councillors.

Sarachman says he wants a binding referendum to allow Flamborough and Glanbrook to de-amalgamate from Hamilton.

Judi Partridge taking to social media in response to Sarachman’s intentions to run in the spring election saying in part: Welcome to the race. Your passion for Flamborough Glanbrook is undeniable.
