Rob Ford facing new allegations

First Published:

New documents have revealed a long list of allegations against Toronto mayor Rob Ford and his past football coaching.

The complaints made by members of the Toronto Catholic District School Board say Ford made players roll around in goose droppings, showed up drunk to the final practice before a championship game, and threatened to beat up a teacher.

The complaints also include Ford’s apparent refusal to provide a criminal background check to the board.

Ford was removed from his coaching duties in May 2013 after he made comments that suggested his players at Don Bosco Catholic Secondary were gang members.

Ford, nor his campaign manager and brother Doug Ford, have responded to the allegations. Ford is running for re-election in the October 27th Toronto municipal election.
