Ride Don’t Hide

First Published:

Hamilton will be taking part in the “Ride don’t Hide” event this summer. The Canadian Mental Health Association has been doing the event across the country for four years but this is the first time it’s happening in Hamilton.

The ride raises awareness and money to help those suffering with mental health issues. All the money from the ride in Hamilton will go to programs and initiatives within the city. The Hamilton board chair of the association says there is a growing need for those services.

There will be several rides for all ages and abilities on June 26th. Mayor Fred Eisenberger and honourary ride chair Ron Foxcroft will be taking part in one of the races. They warmed up today at the event launch.
