Raptors start season on the right sneaker

The Raptors started off the season right — with a win during their home opener earlier tonight against the Atlanta Hawks at the Air Canada Centre.

The team that rallied much of this region — if not the country with its “We the North” motto last season — was back in action for the first time since a disappointing playoff loss in May.

And the fans were pumped up for the season.
