The 41st annual Good Friday Road Race hopped its way into Burlington this morning.

Over one thousand runners participated in three races: The Bunny Hop, 1K Kids Race, 5K and 10K race.

The races are hosted by the Burlington Runners Club with proceeds of the event going toward Fab Foundation. They have developed a program that challenges youth girls in grades 6, 7 and 8 to train and compete in today’s 5 kilometre run as their final challenge.

Last year Fab raised over $5,000.
