Premier rallies in Hamilton

First Published:

Premier Kathleen Wynne was in Hamilton today and took time to react to Horwath’s intentions.

Wynne was at a rally at the Spice Factory on Hughson Street in the city’s north end.

She threw her support behind Deirdre Pike’s campaign against Andrea Horwath in Hamilton Centre as well as all the local Liberal candidates.

With 70% of Canada’s steel being made in Ontario and Hamilton being a major contributor, Premier Kathleen Wynne spoke about the future of steel in this city.

Wynne, who didn’t accompany Prime Minster Trudeau on his Hamilton tour last week, concluded her message by saying the campaign isn’t about who they’re fighting against but who they’re fighting for.
