Police looking to identify suspects in an attempted robbery

Hamilton police are looking to identify two suspects after an attempted robbery at Barry’s Jewellers on Upper James st in Hamilton.

On Wednesday, June 20 around 6:45 pm two suspects, one with a weapon, tired to enter the business. They failed to gain entry and were last seen walking northbound.

The first suspect is described as 5’10, medium build, wearing a construction style winter jacket, dark baggy pants and a hat. The suspect was also wearing a mask covering his face.

The second suspect is described as 5’10, thin to medium build, wearing a dark winter jacket, dark hoodie pulled up, skinny pants, black baseball hat and was carrying a dark back pack. They were also wearing a mask to cover their face.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Hamilton police or to remain anonymous contact Crime Stoppers.
