Police investigate shooting in St. Catharines

Niagara police are asking for the public’s help after a “targeted” shooting in St. Catharines.

Officers were called to the area of 45 Manchester Ave. Thursday evening for reports of gun shots just after 11 p.m.

The investigation revealed no one was hurt during the incident and no arrests have been made.

Police believe the shooting was targeted and say there is no ongoing public safety concern.

A vehicle was seized Thursday night but police would not give any further details about the incident.
