Residents on Dell Avenue in Niagara Falls were jolted out of bed early Sunday morning by a flurry of gunshots.

At about 6:30am residents heard a number of shots. When they ran outside, they saw bullet holes in the front window of a house on Dell Avenue. A window at the back of the house was also shattered. The house appears to be the target of a drive-by shooting.

Neighbours say a father and son live in the home. No one was injured.

The intersection of Dell Ave and Skinner St. is blocked by police tape as detectives investigate.
