Ontario Provincial Police say they laid over 1,800 charges during their recent enforcement blitz.
OPP say close to 3,500 vehicles were stopped for Operation Safe Trucking, which ran from Dec. 11-15.
Police laid 223 distracted driving, charges, 336 speeding charges and 111 charges of following too closely.
Officers also took 71 unsafe vehicles off the road.
