Ontario teen to attend Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding

First Published:

An Ontario teen has been invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding next month.

Peterborough’s Faith Dickinson, 15, was invited in recognition of her charity called Cuddles for Cancer.

The organization provides free blankets to cancer patients and soldiers returning home injured or suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

Last year Dickinson won The Diana Award, which is a mentoring program named after the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

Award organizers say she’s the only Canadian out of seven young people involved in The Diana Award program to earn a spot in the public gallery.

The other invitees are all from England.

Prince Harry and Markle will marry on May 19 at St. George’s Chapel.
