One person dead in Mississauga shooting

A man is dead after a shooting in Mississauga, early Saturday morning.

Peel Regional Police say they received reports that as many as three people had been shot at the Kinsmen Club of Streetsville located at Queen Street South and Church Street.

Paramedics say they pronounced one man dead at the scene.

No other details about the investigation have been released.

On its social media site, Peel police report homicide detectives have been notified about the shooting and they will be taking over the investigation.
