1Awards finalists

FirstOntario Credit Union announced the 5th annual 1Awards finalists at a breakfast Tuesday morning.

Mustard Seed Co-Op, Blackbird Studios and Gameopolis were the three big winners chosen from ten finalists, splitting a $150 000 prize.  The 1Awards small business competition started five years ago to help local businesses grow and expand. Since then FirstOntario has  invested more than $600 000 into Hamilton’s small business landscape.

The executive vice president from FirstOntario shared his beliefs on why these awards are so vital to local businesses.
