A Norfolk county man is facing a child abduction charge after being found on a bus in Thunder Bay Ont. with an 11-year-old girl.

According to the Canadian Press, provincial police got word on Tuesday that the young girl might be on a Greyhound bus headed toward Thunder Bay with the man.

Twenty-two-year-old Brandon Labonte of Norfolk County was arrested after police pulled over the bus.

The girl is in protective custody until she can be returned to her family in Norfolk county.
